
Great quick fix - Does what it says it will do. Great quick fix to undo a couple of days worth of horrible eating. I lost 3 lbs. the first day, on Day 2 now. One suggestion I would make would be to dilute it in FAR MORE WATER than it recommends. It recommends diluting 4 oz. of juice with 4 oz. of water and sipping that for four hours. I could never make that last for four hours! I would suggest adding a little sweetener (Stevia is best) and diluting each 4 oz. of the juice with 44 oz. water, that s a bit over 8 oz. of liquid per hour which is much more satisfying and manageable. YOU NEED WILLPOWER ,,BUT IT DOES WORK - I have taken this product several times. I wanted to lose a few pounds before I got married and drank this. I lost an average of 7-8 lbs. I found that the weight came off within 4 days not the 48 hours it says. That was eating healthy after the initial 48 hours is done. I didn t mind the taste at all, it tastes like orange juice which I like. I looked forward to the new glass every 4 hours instead of the water with no taste at all. You WILL GET HUNGRY so you will need great willpower to get through it. I found it was only difficult for me on the second day at dinner time then I really wanted to eat something. I found if you get hungry just keep drinking water and it will help fill you up. I was about 150 lbs when I first used it and lost 7 lbs. I took it again a week later and lost 2 more lbs. If you keep up with it you can keep the weight off by eating healthy and exercising. I find it a great diet booster when you are just starting your diet and workout. It definitly will help you keep it up and make you want to keep it off. Definitly worth trying-- its not overly expensive , so if your considering it-- just go for it. Good Luck :)
Hollywood 48 hour diet...It worked for me! - It actually worked for me! I cannot believe it..I only did 42 hours. I started 6pm Fri and ended at 12 noon Sunday. I had a salad and a piece of baked chicken Saturday afternoon and an apple on Sunday morning. I stayed pretty active on Saturday. Sunday when I weighed @ noon I lost 8lbs!!! So now its all about keeping it off. Sunday afternoon I started by eating smaller portions, no added sugars, and lots of water (no food after 7pm)...today is Monday, I weighed this morning and I lost an additional pound. Today I had breakfast (cereal...switched to soy milk) and I m skipping lunch (using the extra juice from the diet...I have 4 servings left) then I m doing dinner...no food after 7pm. I hope this helps me get used to eating less (I overeat & snack a lot).All in all I will definitely do it again. NOTE: It is easier to start in the evening (like 6pm) cause then you sleep through most of the first portion of the diet.
Great for fasting! - This drink tastes WAY similar to orange juice, so if you don t like orange juice, it might be hard to choke down. It really does fill you up, surprisingly, but I only made it about 36 hours fasting. Definitely worth cleansing your body and makes you feel refreshed.
Works for me! - I tried this juice and did not follow completely. I went out to eat, had a baked potato and dinner salad plus juice as recomemnded and still lost 4 pounds in 48 hours!. I have tried this for breakfast and lunch 3 days a week, eating a light supper and I continue to see weight loss. I am going to stick with this since I have about 80 lbs to lose.
